Our Veneer Process
Typically, the process to receive your veneers takes two dental appointments. However, the number of appointments can depend on how many veneers you require and the overall complexity of the required work. Dr. Nazari and his team will sit down with you beforehand to outline the process and answer any questions you may have about it.
When you visit our practice for your first appointment, Dr. Nazari will begin by using a special tool to remove a small portion of your tooth's surface. He'll then take a detailed mold of your teeth, which we'll use to create your customized veneers. We'll then send off the impressions to a trusted lab to make your veneers and provide you with temporary veneers to help protect your teeth in the meantime. Once your veneers are ready, we'll call you back for a second appointment, where we'll place them and make any necessary adjustments for a firm and comfortable fit.
Helping You Care for Your Veneers
Our dental team wants your veneers to last as long as possible. That's why, after the placement of your veneers, we'll provide you with detailed instructions on how to care for your veneers at home. It's important to remember you can brush and floss your veneers as you would your natural teeth.
Although veneers are durable, they're still prone to damage over time. We recommend that you avoid eating hard foods, including nuts, hard candy, and ice chips. If you participate in sports, wearing a mouthguard can help prevent your veneers from getting chipped or damaged from contact.
